We make the introduction. After that, the conversation is between you and the provider.

What Happens on the First Call

The first talk is simple. Expect these steps:

• You share what you want, like a walk-in shower or new cabinets.
• They ask about your home, such as its age and foundation type.
• You talk about timing and budget.
• They may set a visit to look at the space.

A visit helps a lot. Photos only show so much. The provider can measure, check the plumbing, and spot issues.

Before the Conversation

A little prep makes the talk smoother. Take a few photos of the room. Jot down what bugs you about it now. Maybe the tub is hard to step into. Maybe the kitchen feels cramped.

Think about how long you plan to stay in the home. That can shape which choices make sense.

What to Ask a Provider

Have a short list ready. Good questions include:
